ORIGINAL PARADISE

Maile (my-lee) is a vine-like scrub with an intoxicating scent that grows in different varieties on each of the Hawaiian islands. It's sweet fragrance has aphrodisiac qualities. This fragrance, hard to capture in words, gracefully emanates a remembrance of original paradise.

Maile is helpful when you're feeling tension due to stress. A 'Queen of Green', it activates the Stomach Meridian that provides nourishment to your whole system. (Maile leaves are made into long leis that hang vertically down the body through the breasts, following the pathway of the Stomach Meridian that Maile activates.) This is a balancing all-purpose essence that satisfies a deep need for comfort and nurturing.

4-5 drops of Maile added to a lotion and applied full body is an excellent energetic rejuvenator, which can be used on a daily basis to enhance feelings of calm and relaxation. Added to skin products, Maile's deeply relaxing quality may also help reduce enlarged skin pores.
