Evening Primrose grows on the dry upland slopes on the approach to Haleakala (a word that means "House of the Sun" in Hawaiian) Crater on the Island of Mauii. Hawaii. A legend of Haleakala is that the demigod Mauii lassoed the Sun so Mauii's mother would have more light to finish her tapa cloth, Evening Primrose yellow blossoms bloom in the moonlight, capturing the soothing, nurturing energy of the moon.
It soothes feelings of abandonment by the mother ; few drops in the navel feels comforting.
The Hawaiian flower essence comes with a full color illustrated page, showing how to use the flower topically, internally and applied to it’s meridian source point.
The elixir is in a solution of vegetable glycerin, water, alcohol and salt in a 1/2 oz. bottle.
"Evening Primrose reveals your inner child- the unique light that you shed on this world. It does this my incorporating it's subtle and graceful joy into your psychic layers, hitting them just where they need to be turned like a page in a book. As the page turns, you have flashbacks- these are being dusted off to receive more light and to peel away stagnancy." PJ, New Jersey
"It is a very soft and gentle essence, which imbues your heart the the courage it needs to receive guidance and love. This essence could possibly help someone bond with an old friend or lover that they had difficulty with in the past." PJ, Hawaii
"I found Evening Primrose drops added to a touch of oil and applied to my front midline or Conception Vessel Meridian, and then to the whole of my body- felt extremely luxurious, warming, nurturing, strengthening and languid- as if I'd just received a full body massage." JD, Florida
